Originally from Southern California, I spent most of my life moving around the greater Los Angeles area before moving the family to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2015.
Even though I never officially lived in L.A., its rich culture, music, and art scene had a huge influence on me. It was always the place I felt drawn to, and I found myself there often—practicing, performing, and growing as an artist.
In the mid-1990s, a college friend and I formed Dream 26, a three-piece alternative rock band. After writing a handful of songs, refining our sound, and ditching the drum machine, we set out to find a drummer—and eventually did—to complete the trio.
At the time, the local music scene was dominated by punk and metal bands. We were one of the few alternative groups trying to carve out a space of our own. Despite our unconventional style, we managed to earn the respect of both audiences and fellow musicians.

The Dream 26 debut was the start of my music journey, but it also unknowingly set me up for something else—graphic design. It all started with making flyers for our shows, just having fun with this new way of creating art.
Back then, my “design tools” were pretty low-tech—scraps of paper, scissors, rubber cement, and a copy machine at a 24-hour Kinko’s. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but about seven years later, I realized just how much it had influenced my path.
Now, ten years later, I’m heading into a new chapter of life—feeling an itch for creating video and visiting Tennessee. Change is coming, whether I’m ready or not. Honestly? I think I’m ready.
You have to keep turning the pages if you want to reach the next chapter. And you have to finish the story if you want to see how it all turns out. So keep dreaming, and thanks for sticking it out until the end.
