Originally from Southern California, I spent much of my life moving around the general Los Angeles area before moving my family to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2015.
Even though I never officially lived in Los Angeles, I was definitely influenced by its rich culture, music, and art scene. Los Angeles was always a place I aimed to be, and I found myself there frequently—practicing, performing, and developing my skills as an artist.
In the mid-1990s, a college friend and I teamed up to form Dream 26, a three-piece alternative/rock band. After writing several songs, honing our sound, and deciding to ditch the drum machine, we began our search for a drummer to complete our trio.
In a music scene dominated by hefty punk and metal bands, we were just one of a few alternative groups trying to make our mark. Despite their unconventional style, we managed to earn praise from both our audience and fellow musicians.

The 'Dream 26 debut' marked the beginning of my musical journey, but it also unknowingly set the stage for my future in graphic design, as I took an interest in designing our show flyers.
My foray into graphic design started with basic tools: paper scraps, scissors, rubber cement, and a copy machine at a 24-hour Kinko's. It wasn't until about seven years later that I realized its significance.
So here I am, nine years later, going into the next chapter of my life and feeling an itch for Tennessee. It feels like change is coming whether I want it or not. I think I want it.
You have to keep turning the pages if you want to get to the next chapter. And you have to finish the story if you want to know how it all turns out in the end. So, keep dreaming. And thanks for sticking it out until the end.
